The sources we’ve long turned to to construct our identities have become slippery and suspicious (or employed as crutches for fundamentalism). Immortality centres the artist and to some degree the art museum in a conversation about authorship. It posits that artists might be, at this point, our most trustworthy sources; the ones we should turn to for insight into the human condition and who might comfort us on our march into an increasingly unstable future...
