boundary lines no good common (2018)

Boundary lines brings together Australian and international artists whose practices explore the spatial, both literal and imagined; how boundaries control and dominate individuals and communities. Paying special attention to the potency of negative space in contemporary art, Boundary lines draws us into a physical conversation with the world around us by considering the effect of built environments, metaphorical spaces and modes of institutional regulation on our personal and group behaviours, cultural sensitivities and universal memories.

Artists: Vernon Ah Kee, Daniel Boyd, Destiny Deacon, et al., Carol McGregor, Rosângela Rennó. Curated by Angela Goddard  (NOV, 2018 - FEB, 2019)
